There will also be the Proving Grounds, which is a new challenge to the Borderlands serial. These are themed Trials that are unlocked afterwards deciphering Eridian Writings, and a mysterious Eridian Guardian leave test players' firearm finesse. In combined Trial, players must pass around through three areas inhabited with tons of enemies and defeat a big boss, all in under 30 minutes. The quicker the Trial is completed, the greater the reward, but bonus objectives are on offer here too. For example, if the Overleap Hunter makes it finished the Trial without dying, finishes it with a certain total of sentence remaining, or eliminates a wandering Fallen Tutelary, or s very nice prezzies are found in the chest at the end of the Proving Grounds.
